- "Rail & Fly" without surcharge
When booking a TUI Cruises cruise including an international flight, the PRO and PLUS tariff includes Deutsche Bahn AG's "Rail & Fly" service to all departure airports within Germany (including Basel) in 2nd class. class with no extra charge. Tickets for the 1. can be booked for an extra fee. For Business Class guests, the 1st class is free of charge. Class is included.
The PUR tariff does not include a "Rail & Fly" service, but an additional booking is possible for a fee.
Bei Abflug ab dem Flughafen Basel ist die Bahnstrecke Basel Bad-Basel Sbb eingeschlossen. At all other foreign airports, the "Rail & Fly" ticket is not valid, not even for the domestic German route to the border. For guests travelling from abroad, the "Rail & Fly" ticket from the German border applies for departures from German airports.
Please note that the "Rail & Fly" ticket is not available for our flights and journeys from/to Hamburg, Kiel, Bremerhaven and Warnemünde.

Basic children's rates apply for children aged 2 to 14**. The age at the start of the journey is decisive for the basic prices for children.
**Infants (6 months to 2 years) Infants under 2 years are not entitled to a seat. Infants who turn 2 years old during the journey require their own seat for both the outbound and return flights at the basic child fare.

The different booking classes on your flight
We offer Economy Class on all TUI Cruises routes. For even more comfort, discover the benefits of our higher booking classes on selected flights.
Please note that Premium Economy and Business Class are not available on all TUI Cruises routes. Your travel agent or the Mein Schiff service team will be happy to advise you.
Our website always shows all available airports and prices in Economy Class for the desired connection directly from the respective booking start. Depending on the destination, higher booking classes are activated directly at the start of the booking or at a later date.
Caribbean & Central America - Here we usually fly with so-called full charter aircraft, where we have rented the entire aircraft from the beginning. This means that we have also put all available airports and booking classes on sale right from the start of booking.
Orient, Asia and North America - Here, higher booking classes can only be requested after the flight dates have been published. The flight details can be found in your personal My Cruises area. If you do not yet have a booking, you can also find the flight details in the booking section.
We cannot offer you any other places beyond these availabilities.

Our flight connections are designed to make travelling to and from the airport as easy as possible. However, despite the best planning, we are unfortunately unable to provide optimal connections for all flights and individual guest requests. When selecting airlines, we take a number of factors into account – first and foremost safety and the selection of routes offered.
Together with the airlines, we naturally do everything we can to make your arrival and departure as pleasant as possible. However, please understand that the current situation on the flight market remains very tense: This can have a significant impact on the availability of flights, the general service or extended waiting times. Unfortunately, all of this is beyond our control. To be on the safe side, please allow extra time at the airport.
