Cruise check-in & early check-in
Online check-in
To get your feel-good holiday off to an even more relaxed start, check in before your trip via your personal My Cruises portal. Online check-in is mandatory for all travellers.
Online check-in is possible from 21 days before the start of the cruise until midnight on the day your cruise starts (Central European time zone).
Cruise check-in
For guests with a Mein Schiff flight and bus arrival and departure, check-in is open directly on arrival at the port.
For guests with individual arrivals and departures, the following time slots apply:
- Departures from Germany: from 13:00 to 16:00
- All other departures: from 15:00 to 18:00
For guests with individually booked arrivals and departures, it is necessary to book a check-in time slot for better planning of check-in on site.
Our suites and junior suites guests as well as guests with a booked VIP tarrif option have the entire check-in time at their disposal - without a fixed time slot.
Early check-in
In most ports, you have the option of reserving an early check-in via your My Cruises portal so that you can use the public areas on board before the communicated arrival time.
When early check-in begins varies depending on the port and can be found in your travel information and your My Cruises portal.
The Early Check-in package can be booked via your My Cruises portal either from the time of booking until the start of your trip under "Always interesting" > "Activities" > "Packages & Newspapers" > "Early Check-in" or from 4 months before the start of the trip under "Now Relevant" > "Bookable before travelling" > "Early Check-in".
When using early check-in, please select the latest online check-in time slot. This selected time is only a placeholder in the cruise ticket.
Early check-in can be booked for a surcharge of 35 euros per person aged 14 and over.
This service is free of charge for children up to the age of 13, guests of suites and junior suites, guests with a TUI Cruises travel package (flight and bus), guests with a booked VIP fare option, with a SPA treatment (excluding Cabanas), a sports arrangement or a hairdressing service as well as with a booked excursion (excluding transfer buses and hop-on hop-off bus/big bus tours) worth at least 35 euros per person and in each case with a fixed start time up to one hour after the regularly communicated check-in start time.
Please note that early check-in is not included in the Rail&Cruise ticket.
