Your wedding ceremony on board the Mein Schiff® fleet
Turn the most beautiful day of your life into an unforgettable experience
Say "I do" on board our Mein Schiff® fleet!
The captains of the Mein Schiff® fleet are officially authorised to perform legally valid marriages and same-sex weddings in international waters, which are also fully recognised in Germany after the cruise. This is made possible by a special provision in Maltese marriage law and in the Maltese Civil Unions Act, which also applies to the fleet sailing under the Maltese flag. Nothing stands in the way of a wedding ceremony on a cruise.
The wedding ceremony is conducted in German and according to Maltese law. The presence of two adult witnesses is required, these can also be provided by us. Please note that there is a lead time of ten weeks before the wedding date at sea so that the marriage can be registered with the Maltese authorities in good time.
