Church wedding
On the Mein Schiff® fleet, we usually welcome pastors from the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) on board. We can therefore offer you a church wedding ceremony by the respective pastor. Come on board your feel-good ship and get married in a very special setting.
Things to know about your church wedding
One church wedding is offered on board per voyage, and up to two on long-term Caribbean voyages. With simultaneous departures, several couples can get married at the same time. Bookings can be made at the earliest six months before the start of the tour, subject to change at short notice. Wedding ceremonies only take place on port days and are conducted by a representative of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD).
Requirements for a church wedding on board: You are legally married and have a valid marriage certificate, at least one person is a member of the Protestant Church and a dimissorial from your home parish is available.
Booking the basic package is mandatory. Cancellation free of charge is possible up to four weeks before departure, after that 100% will be charged.
