The colourful garden of the tarot

The Giardino dei Tarocchi is a tribute to modern art. The French-Swiss-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle designed and realised this art project. The model for the Gesamtkunstwerk was the famous Park Güell in Barcelona. In total, there are 22 colourful sculptures in this park, framed by trees, which reach a height of up to 15 m and are decorated with mirror mosaics, coloured glass and mini tiles. Some of the figures can even be walked on from the inside. On the way back, stop for a real Italian ice cream.
