Following in the footsteps of the cult film through Bangkok
Amidst a glittering skyline, the vibrant energy of city life and exotic flavours, you’ll experience this multifaceted metropolis from a whole range of different perspectives. Follow in the footsteps of the cult film, immerse yourself in the city’s authentic atmosphere and enjoy a ‘Hangovertini’ at whilst taking in the view of the skyline from the legendary Sky Bar in the State Tower, which became world-famous thanks to the film. An exclusive day full of new experiences, contrasts and unforgettable views.
The excursion in brief:
Bus journey to Bangkok, about 2 hours each way
A discovery tour by water limousine on the Chao Phraya and by tuk-tuk through the city
A visit to Chinatown with a tasting of local specialities
A visit to the legendary Sky Bar at the State Tower

Notes: The walk is approx. 5 km long and includes a few steps. The Sky Bar has a dress code; please wear appropriate clothing; shoulders must be covered, and sportswear, beachwear and flip-flops are not permitted. Minimum age: 15 years.

Experience authentic Thai cuisine in a special way. After you’ve managed to get hold of some fresh fish on a longtail boat trip (weather permitting) or at a local Fish Market Restaurant, the restaurant’s head chef will treat you to some traditional Thai specialities. Fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional cooking methods make every dish unique. Your day out will be rounded off with a visit to the Big Buddha Temple and some free time at Chaweng Beach.
The excursion in brief:
A transfer of around 40 minutes to the Phensiri restaurant
A short trip on a longtail boat or a visit to the local Fish Market Restaurant to catch and choose some fresh fish
A culinary experience, prepared by the head chef, lasting around 3 hours
Some free time at Chaweng Beach, for example, to go for a swim or have a stroll
Visit to the Big Buddha Temple
Notes: The walking distance is about 1 km and includes ca. 70 steps at the Big Buddha Temple (ascent optional). The menu varies depending on the season and the fish caught. Please remember to bring sun protection and swimwear, as well as clothing that covers your shoulders and knees, and a pair of socks for your visit to the temple. Should the longtail boat trip be cancelled at short notice due to the weather, we will visit the local Fish Market Restaurant instead. Minimum age: 15 years.
