Sète

The French town of Sète not only has the largest fishing port in the Mediterranean, it is also affectionately known as the little Venice of the Languedoc. It is located on the largest canal in Sète, which you can explore wonderfully by boat. Back on land, you should definitely try some freshly caught oysters.
