Halong Bay
With thousands of limestone cliffs rising from the emerald green waters of the “Bay of the Submerging Dragon”, Halong Bay is one of Vietnam’s most famous tourist destinations. Starting from Tuan Chau, in the Bai Chay district, you can go on boat tours of the surrounding islands, which have been shaped by thousands of years of weathering and tides. Many of them have grottos and caves, inside which fascinating formations of stalagmites and stalactites have formed. Enjoy the beautiful limestone cliffs, often mystically embedded in wafts of mist, and the breathtaking landscape of Halong Bay, which was the setting of inspirational scenes in the film “James Bond – Tomorrow Never Dies”.
