Knowledge at Sea

New Mein Schiff® themed trip series "Knowledge at Sea" with experts on topics relating to seafaring and the world's oceans.

In the coming years, the Mein Schiff® fleet will continue to expand its range of themed trips with the new "Knowledge at Sea" series. In collaboration with experts from various specialist fields, we offer our guests the opportunity to expand their knowledge on many different trips.

The program

Together with our guests, we go on a discovery tour and, among other things, expand our knowledge of Marco Polo, learn about historical and modern navigation together with astronomers and navigators and find out more about our oceans.

In addition to classic lectures in the Theatre, interested parties have the opportunity to deepen their theoretical knowledge in practical workshops. The range on offer is just as varied as the nautical and maritime themes themselves. Exercises with a sextant are just as much a part of the programme as creative workshops and real experiments in small groups.
