Processing Purposes and Legal Basis
We collect the data you provide on the form regarding your health condition to ensure the protection of other guests, the crew on board the Mein Schiff fleet, our other employees and other third parties (e.g. service providers) from the current health threat posed by the "corona virus" (SARS-COV-2). Furthermore, this helps us to enable the authorities to trace chains of infection as well as to ensure general compliance with the legal or regulatory requirements of our destination countries. The legal basis for this are legal requirements based on Union law or the law of individual Member States that are proportionate to the objective pursued, purposes of preventive health care, protection against serious cross-border health risks and the guarantee of high quality and safety standards for reasons of public interest (Art. 6(1)(c)/d) GDPR, Art. 9(2)(g)/h)/i) GDPR).
Duration of storage
The processed health data will be retained by us for a period of 4 weeks after the end of the journey.
Recipients or Categories of Recipients
Recipients of your data are (port) authorities or other health authorities in Germany, your country of origin as well as (port) authorities or other health authorities in the countries of your travel destinations.
Transfer to a Recipient in a Third Country
A transfer to third countries may be necessary if port, health or other authorities request these data. In this case a transmission of the data is necessary to fulfil the travel contract, which is also in your interest. Moreover, a transfer may be necessary for reasons of health protection in the country of destination, i. e. for important reasons. Furthermore, we would also transfer your data if it is necessary to protect or preserve your life or the life of other guests, if you are legally or physically no longer able to consent to a transfer (Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b)/c)/d)/f) GDPR).

You are entitled to the following rights if the legal requirements are met:
