TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION AND PRIZE DESCRIPTION
The organizer of the competition is TUI Cruises GmbH (hereinafter referred to as TUI Cruises).
The winnings:
Grand prize:
1x multi-day inaugural cruise following the naming ceremony of the Mein Schiff Flow in the Mediterranean for up to 2 people in a balcony cabin, expected to take place in mid/late June, including arrival and departure package.
Prize for namesake christening cocktail Mein Schiff Flow:
- Mein Schiff® cocktail book and a themed surprise package
- Mein Schiff Flow First Box (limited edition) with JBL Tune 520BT headphones, Stanley AeroLight™ Transit thermos mug (350 ml), 3D engraved glass cube of the Mein Schiff Flow and The Ritual of Sakura scented candle

Terms and conditions:
- The competition runs from from March 17, 2026 to March 24, 2026.
- All persons who participate in the voting during the promotional period will automatically be entered into the prize draw for the main prize.
- The submitter grants TUI Cruises a non-exclusive right of use, without restriction as to location, time, or content, to the submitted name suggestion (hereinafter: “Submission”). This right includes, in particular, use for:
- worldwide publication, distribution, and reproduction,
- editing and further development,
- marketing, social media, communication, and PR purposes
(e.g., use on the website www.meinschiff.com as well as on TUI Cruises’ social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and other channels (OnBoard, newsletter, app, PoS)). - The submitter warrants that:
- they are the author of the submission,
- no third-party rights are infringed (e.g., trademarks, name rights, or copyrights),
- the content is not confidential and may be published. The submitter indemnifies TUI Cruises against any claims by third parties that may arise from the use of the submitted content. - Since the submissions do not contain any personal images or video recordings, no separate consent is required. If submissions contain personal content, any consent granted may be revoked at any time with future effect by sending an informal email to crm@tuicruises.com.
- Participants acknowledge that their submission may be publicly visible as part of the voting process, the jury's decision and accompanying marketing measures.
- An internal TUI Cruises jury will select a final name from all entries and inform the person submitting the name by 10 April at the latest.
- Anyone who has reached the age of 18 by March 17, 2026 is eligible to participate.
Excluded are employees of TUI Cruises GmbH and their relatives as well as male persons. Also excluded are persons who are employed by employers on board the TUI Cruises fleets (Mein Schiff® & Hapag-Lloyd Cruises).
Participation in the competition is free of charge. - Participation with fake identities or identities of third parties is not permitted. TUI Cruises reserves the right to exclude suspected cases from participation without giving reasons.
- Participation is via the voting function on the website https://www.meinschiff.com/en/your-flow
A valid Mein Schiff® account is required to participate. - Each eligible person can only participate once per voting/action. Multiple submissions within the same voting/action are not possible.
However, participation in several different votes is possible and increases the chance of winning the main prize. - The individual prizes will be drawn at random from all participants by 10 April 2026 at the latest.
- A prize draw for the main prize will take place in May 2026 from all valid entries received by 11:59 p.m. on May 12, 2026.
- The winners will be contacted by TUI Cruises via email (to the address stored in their Mein Schiff account). Winners must claim their prize within two business days and respond via email to crm@tuicruises.com.
The claim to the prize distribution shall lapse if a winner does not respond within the specified period; the prize will then be raffled again among all participants.
Notwithstanding the above, the entitlement to the prize for the namesake of the Mein Schiff Flow christening cocktail will lapse without substitution if the winner does not respond within the specified period. The jury prize will not be awarded again. - The prize applies exclusively to the products advertised in the competition. Cash payment, exchange, or transfer of the prize is excluded.
- Any violation of these terms and conditions entitles TUI Cruises to exclude the participant in question from participation. This applies in particular if content violates applicable law or the rights of third parties or offends common decency.
If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been drawn, the prize may be revoked retrospectively. - TUI Cruises reserves the right to change, pause, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons if proper execution cannot be guaranteed due to fraud, technical reasons, or other reasons beyond the control of TUI Cruises.
- German law applies. Legal recourse is excluded.
- Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be invalid or should there be a loophole, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid or missing provisions shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the contractual purpose and the statutory provisions.
- The closing date for participation in the individual prizes for naming the Mein Schiff Flow christening cocktail is March 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. The closing date for entries for the main prize is May 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Purpose and legal basis of data processing
When you participate in the competition, we process personal data – in particular, if you win: title, first and last name, email address (stored in your Mein Schiff account), user communication, and, if necessary, address data required for shipping.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the purpose of conducting the competition, in particular for determining, notifying, and processing the awarding of prizes.
Registration of a Mein Schiff account is required to participate in the competition. By registering or using a Mein Schiff account, you agree to the privacy policy of the Mein Schiff account. The privacy policy of the Mein Schiff account applies independently, must be confirmed during registration, and can be viewed in advance here: https://www.meinschiff.com/en/data-protection
The processing described there is carried out independently of the competition and on the basis of the legal principles specified there.
If you also voluntarily consent to receiving newsletters, this processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by sending an email to Abmeldung@tuicruises.com.
Recipients or categories of recipients
Data will not be passed on to uninvolved third parties. We reserve the right to use service providers as vicarious agents. If we use service providers, we have concluded data protection agreements with these service providers. If you are selected as a winner, we will pass on the data required for processing the prize to our service providers (e.g., shipping partners, event service providers). Other
You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide your personal data. However, you must provide your personal data in order to create a Mein Schiff customer account and participate in the prize draw. Failure to provide personal data will result in you being unable to participate in the competition, in particular the determination and distribution of prizes.
Automated decision-making, including profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.
Storage period
With regard to the data processed during the competition and subsequent prize draw, there are retention periods under tax and commercial law. According to Section 147 (1) of the German Fiscal Code (AO), these are
accounting documents, and pursuant to Section 257 (1) of the German Commercial Code (HGB) for
business documents. We store data that is processed solely on the basis of a newsletter consent (e.g., name and email address) until you revoke your consent.
