Santa Cruz (La Palma)

Dragon trees, Canary Island pines and palm trees – the pace of life is a little slower in this jungle paradise. The “Volcán de San Antonio” is often referred to as a picture-book volcano because of its uniform crater. Even inexperienced hikers can walk along the western edge of the crater. Santa Cruz, La Palma’s capital, is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the Canary Islands. Aristocratic palaces, stately town houses and colonial squares bear witness to the former trading town.
